Washington, DC – April 2, 2026

For the second time, the U.S. Department of Education (ED) has chosen Longevity Consulting, LLC to continue their work supporting the National Technical Assistance Center for the Education of Neglected or Delinquent Children and Youth (NDTAC), which focuses on improving academic outcomes for vulnerable youth.

This award reflects Longevity’s continued commitment to supporting federal programs and mission-driven organizations, as well as the depth of services provided to ED. Since 2020, Longevity has strengthened ED’s ability to drive continuous improvement by providing technical assistance, analytic expertise, and management support.

“This work is about ensuring that state programs have the tools and evidence needed to better serve at-risk youth and improve opportunities for successful academic outcomes,” said Lynn Bauer, Ph.D., Director of Grants Management and Policy at Longevity. “NDTAC’s effectiveness supporting state agencies, correctional programs and local partners has shown measurable improvements through our technical assistnace engagements and training sessions.”

Another key contribution has been the development of a more robust and comprehensive performance assessment process. By strengthening data collection and evaluation, Longevity has helped provide program leaders with clearer, more actionable insights to inform decision-making and has strengthened ED’s ability to monitor state progress and compliance, also driving continuous improvement.

“We’ve worked closely with federal and program partners to develop innovative systems that prioritize Title 1, Part D grantee success,” Bauer said. “We look forward to building on this foundation to further enhance program effectiveness and better support at-risk youth nationwide.”
